Privacy & cookies

Our software is private by default — and separate from this website. The apps we make run on your PC and send nothing unless you opt in. This website uses analytics that load only if you accept them. The two are independent.

Our software

UpDog products run entirely on your computer. There are no accounts, no cloud, and no ads, and nothing about you is collected by default. The only thing an app can send is optional, anonymous usage statistics you choose to turn on (off by default) — never your files, folder names, or anything identifying. Each product has its own detailed privacy policy with the specifics; for TidyMerge, see tidymerge.com/privacy.html.

This website

Email you send us. If you email support@updogtechnologies.com, we receive your message through our own web host and use it only to reply to you. We don't run a third-party ticketing service and we don't sell or share your address.

Website analytics (cookies). This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use it — which pages are viewed, roughly which country visitors come from, and which links are clicked. It is consent-based: the first time you visit, you're asked whether to allow analytics, and no analytics cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google unless you choose “Accept.” If you decline — or simply ignore the banner — the analytics tag never loads. You can change your choice any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page. This data is aggregate, is never used to advertise to you, and is never sold.

Changes

If we change what we collect, we'll update this page and its date. Questions or requests: support@updogtechnologies.com.
